Description of Problem:
In the local calendar I clicked on an appointment so that it was
highlighted. I then clicked on the trash can button in the toolbar, the
button depressed and then became inactive when I release the mouse button.
However the appointment was not removed from the calendar.

Expected Results:
deletes the appointment
