The ctrl+` keyboard shortcut to open the contact preview pane is very hard
to type in all non-us keyboard layouts I have available (spanish in various
variants...) mostly because the ` is dead usually in those layouts (and
when needed by itself is typed followed by a space) or needs at least one
extra modifier apart from the ctrl.
