Description Ryan P Skadberg 2004-02-23 21:53:12 UTC
I have subscribed to a couple of remote iCal calendars and they seem to be
showing up as GMT no matter what. In the calendar, I see:

DTSTART;TZID=US/Eastern:20031028T190000

I have mine set to America/New_York and everything shows up 5 hours early.
Either Evolution doesn't understand US/Eastern or is ignoring timezones in
remote iCals.

I'm seeing something like this too. It makes lots of remote icals
borderline useless- IMHO this should be a blocker bug. See, for
example, webcal://ical.mac.com/lttlblue369/Red32Sox322004.ics

where evo seems to think a lot of baseball games start at 10am. It's
weird, though- it's not quite UTC for me, it's only like 4 hours.
Comment 2 Luis Villa 2004-04-07 15:29:21 UTC
Also, are bugs 55515 and 55524 dups of this?
Comment 3 Ryan P Skadberg 2004-04-07 15:37:59 UTC
luis - GMT doesn't do daylight savings, that's why it's only -4 now
