Description Eric Lambart 2003-12-09 17:46:23 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Normal
Version: 1.4.5
Synopsis: crash when starting Evolution
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Calendar
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.2.0.1)

Description:
Description of Problem:
I copied (after doing --force-shutdown on both machines) my desktop's
calendar.ics file over to my new notebook, and the next time I started
Evo on the notebook, a million billion calendar notifications popped up.
Totally hosed my X and Gnome. I killed X via a shell prompt (after
killing all Evo processes Gnome was still going crazy... closing
windows?), and then restarted. Everything else works fine but the
evolution-alarm-notify process keeps segfaulting on system startup.

Additional Information:
RH 9, linux 2.4.20-24.9RH w/ Gnome, Evo 1.4.5-0.ximian.6.0
