Using a table that has been re-edited several times, the tool
experienced a crash.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create a corrupted table.  (Several edites seem to achieve this.
2. Attempt to edit.

Further intelligence to rebuild a bad table.

Infrequent.  Based on quality of table.
