Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you
are doing.
Description of Problem:
You can create an appointment ,modify the "Recurrence Rule" of recurring
event,such as "Simple recurrence ",and save and close the appointment.
Recurrence change can't be  saved.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Creating an appointment  
2. modify the ""Recurrence Rule" of recurring event,such as "Simple
recurrence "
3. save and close it
4. reopen the appointment 
5. change the "Recurrence Rule " from "Simple recurrence" to "NO recurrence ".
6. save and close it. 
7. reopen it.the "Recurrence Rule " is still "Simple recurrence ".

Actual Results:
Recurrence change can't be  saved

This report is really old and my testing indicates this is working
fine (note that things like the new UI merge have happened since
this).  Re-open if its still an issue.
