Description Marcin Kowalczyk 2003-09-25 01:48:11 UTC
Description of Problem:
I'm using bogofilter. The only way I could find to
let Evolution pipe a mail to a command on explicit
request was to change its label and issue "apply
filters", with some filter reacting to the given
label.

(As a separate issue, there should be some easier
and more direct way. I will file another wishlist
item. This would make setting labels unnecessary
for training bogofilter but they could be set from
filters for other purposes.)

Anyway, after the message is processed I don't
want it to have this label forever - it's ugly, it
was used only to trigger a filter. Unfortunately
filters can't set labels (or remove them in this
case), so I must remove it manually. This also
prevents further automating bogofilter training by
moving the message to the spam archive afterwards.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Select Tools/Filters and begin adding a filter.
2. In the list of actions available, look for "set
label".

Actual Results:
There is no "set label" or the like (although it
is possible to filter basing on labels).

Expected Results:
There should be.

How often does this happen?
Always.
