Description of Problem:
"Beep when new mail arrives"  doesn't work
By the way, the beep function in filter works fine.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.Tool->Setting->Mail Preference 
2.Select "Beep when new mail arrives" 
3.Receive a new mail 

Actual Results:
 No beep.

Expected Results:


How often does this happen?

if beep works fine and gnome_play_sound() doesn't, then it's a gnome bug.
