still missing in evolution-2.0.2.0.200412060900-0.snap.ximian.10.1,
although i dislike the idea - tabbing is for accessing the next input
field (e.g. the CC field) and not for applying inputs - this is surely
the enter button.
is this bug report hig-compatible at all? :-/

Basically, when press tab, the first selected thing is done. But when u scroll
using cursor it should update the tab with what is being there and tab should go
with the selected one which doesnt now. Also it is right to move to next tab
when u press tab, since that is most expected.

The selection should be fixable in the next release.

removing old 2.5 target milestone and retargetting to future - sorry.
Comment 4 Karsten Bräckelmann 2006-03-31 02:39:08 UTC
Tab completion is used in shells.

Graphical Desktops commonly use the Tab key for switching / cycling focus. This is true for the entire GNOME Desktop just as well. Evolution, integrated and officially part of the GNOME Desktop may not change this.

The bahavior of cycling focus using the Tab key is a design decision. NOTABUG.
