Description David Cook 2003-07-12 16:20:01 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Normal
Version: GNOME2.2.0 1.4.0
os_details: Gnome.Org
Synopsis: Evolution process crashed after launch
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Shell
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.2.0.1)
Description:
Description of Problem:
Evolution launched (as usual), but it crashed and suggested sending a
bug report. No user UI inputs or interactions were made. (Presumably,
it
was fetching new email from the POP server. Note: I do have 'keep copy
of emails on server' enabled. (That is why I am running V1.4, since
that
functionality was broken in earlier releases of Evolution.)

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Launched Evolution (as usual) after Linux login.
2. (On last previous use of Evolution, I had deleted numerous unwanted
emails)
3.

Actual Results:
Application crashed about 5 or 10 seconds after launch.

Expected Results:
Normally, Evolution fetches any new emails, and then waits for UI
inter-action.

How often does this happen?
This was the first time.

Additional Information:
Running this under SuSE V8.2, kernel= 2.4.20-4GB-athlon

Debugging Information:

Backtrace was generated from '/opt/gnome2/bin/evolution'
