Description Ian Scott 2003-06-04 04:44:29 UTC
Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you
are doing.
Description of Problem:

Email received is blank, but 'Show Email Source' shows full message.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Receive email
2. Open Email
3. Discover blank email message
4. Click on 'Show Email Source'

Actual Results:
Email is blank. Message cannot be seen.

Expected Results:
Viewing message in email body.

How often does this happen?
Has occured once.

Additional Information:

I'm sure that others were able to view this email as on the list I am
subscribed to, people have responded to this email, and have included the
message body in their reply.

Here's what I see when viewing 'Show Email Source'. Perhaps it's a Mutt
issue and not an Evolution bug? Or does it have something to do with
inline PGP signature (as the email headers indicate, but no PGP signature
is seen, either in-line or in an attachment).

Are you saying that it used to be there and now isn't?
AFAIK that feature has never left. Why should it?

We still don't support inline pgp.
This is being addressed.

Comment 2 Jeffrey Stedfast 2003-06-04 16:31:01 UTC
actually this isn't inline-pgp, it's PGP/MIME but appears broken. I'm
just not sure why we don't display the first part even tho the
signature part is missing.
Comment 3 Jeffrey Stedfast 2003-06-09 20:59:38 UTC
Ian: as you noted, the message is busticated as it does not contain
the signature, so would appear to be a mutt bug.

however, we should probably still show the message body even if the
message is corrupt
