Details

Description Ted Anderson 2003-04-26 13:08:16 UTC
Description of Problem: After using Outport to
export contacts from Outlook and then copying the
appropriate files into Evolution's directory,
several blank contacts appear at the beginning of
the list which are not deletable. For each blank
entry, there is an Outlook contact that was not
imported.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Install Outport and follow its instructions for
Evolution.
2. Copy the results into the Evolution directory
as indicated on the Outport website.
3. Open Evolution

Actual Results:
Several contacts are blank and cannot be deleted.

Expected Results:
All contacts should be imported.

How often does this happen?
Every time with these contacts.

Additional Information:
Mandrake 9.1 with Mandrake supplied Evo 1.2.4(via
Mandrake Update).

Comment 2 Gerardo Marin 2003-06-17 22:17:50 UTC
That-s an outport problem when exporting.
Comment 3 Dan Winship 2003-06-18 13:43:24 UTC
Outport is creating bad contacts, but it's still an evo bug
that he can't delete them after importing them.
Comment 4 Gerardo Marin 2004-03-25 16:41:20 UTC
Updating version info form a 1.4.3 user. Adding QA keyword so this is
tested in 1.5+

ted, i imported your vcf (comment 1) to evolution 2.5.91 and all worked fine. can you still reproduce this?

setting to NEEDINFO as i cannot reproduce this.
Comment 6 Ted Anderson 2006-03-01 21:56:09 UTC
I can't reproduce this in 2.4.1. Guess you can close it now.
