This looks like the composer to me.
Comment 2 Jeffrey Stedfast 2003-03-21 00:32:22 UTC
I think this is a duplicate of a bug I just fixed earlier today. if
you see it in the next snap, just reopen.

Comment 4 Nagappan Alagappan 2005-08-22 11:50:03 UTC
Unable to paste the crash in comments due to size limitation.

Reopening the bug based on comment #3.
Comment 5 Nagappan Alagappan 2005-08-22 11:52:03 UTC
Retargetting to 2.5
Comment 6 parthasarathi susarla 2005-09-29 14:43:48 UTC
I really am not able to reproduce this. Have you tried with the 2.4.x??
Comment 7 Joe harmon 2005-09-29 14:57:08 UTC
Yes. I just ran into this on 2.4.x on SUSE 10.0 yesterday. Except my crash was
when I saved the signature.

Comment 9 parthasarathi susarla 2005-09-29 15:08:29 UTC
thanks joe, can you attach the signature that is causing the crash, so that i
can test it. Thanks
Comment 10 Joe harmon 2005-09-29 15:12:37 UTC
Sure. How and where is is stored so that I can attach it? It it in the
.evolution diretory? If so, what is the name of the file.

Oh, and I never had this problem with the 2.3 version of evolution. So this has
been introduced since 2.4
Comment 11 parthasarathi susarla 2005-09-29 15:17:20 UTC
the signatures are stored in .evolution/signatures/

I have tried saving a removing signature with images without images and varied
patterns. But none crashed. So thought i would try it wiht something that
crashes. Thanks

signature

Here it is, but there is nothing special about it. It is just text. Also, I
have been able to add, remove, and edit this signature just fine since the
crash.

The only thing that I can think of is if the crash was due to it already being
seleted under the signature section when I edited it and tryied saving it.
Comment 13 parthasarathi susarla 2005-09-29 18:19:33 UTC
Sigh! not happening. Am really not sure why it crashed. re-opening for now
Comment 14 parthasarathi susarla 2005-10-04 08:59:05 UTC
quite unfortunately i am really not able to reproduce this issue, and i tried
all kinds of signatures, including html/non-html and with scripts and stuff.

Comment 18 André Klapper 2006-09-29 19:17:44 UTC
no 2.6 or 2.8 reports on this crasher so far, no duplicates at all within the last three months.
assuming that this bug has been fixed in the meantime.

anybody still facing this bug *please* reopen this bug report. thanks a lot in advance, and thanks again everybody for taking the time to report this issue!
