Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you
are doing.

Description of Problem:

Evolution now store some configuration into xml file locally. These include
filter, shortcut , vfoler and search.

It prevent we implement roaming feature. Just image you want to use evolution
on machine other than yours. The machine do not have the same home directory
as yours. login with your account, and you find filter disappear.

if we store such info into gconf, and suppose we have gconf with ldap
backend implementation. the roaming feature will be easy. we can use the
evolution on any machine only if the ldap server is accessible.
