Description Mikael Nilsson 2003-02-19 17:32:07 UTC
Hi!

One feature that I really would like in the
Evolution mail component is to be able to mark
messages using my own categories.

I never sort my mail into folders, but use
vFolders for everything. It works wonderfully!
Just one thing missing....

Sometimes it is almost impossible to find a way to
filter messages into the right vFolder. I would
need a way to mark a message as belonging to the
category "Relatives" or "Canadian contacts" (just
examples), and then create a vFolder rule from that.

To use it I would need:
1. A column in the mail view, with a drop-down
list to choose category (categries?)
2. An editor to add categories
3. Similar support in the vFolder Editor

I think this system would solve many problems!

Thanks for a great product anyway!

Yes, this would be a great feature, I agree.
But this seems to be essentially the same request as bug 211353

Yes, I agree. But I gave a more detailed description! :-D
