Description Matthew Nuzum 2002-12-04 03:33:59 UTC
Description of Problem:
In previous versions of Evolution, if an e-mail message had gpg-encrypted
data in it, I would get a prompt for a password and (provided my password
was correct) the message would be shown decrypted.

Now, the e-mail messages must be sent to me using:
Content-Type: multipart/encrypted; protocol="application/pgp-encrypted"
in order to get the same functionality.

I have come to rely on the previous functionality... Is it something that
can be re-enabled?

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create a new e-mail message to your self. Use plain text, not html format.
2. Open a command prompt or your favorite gpg program and encrypt a short
text text string to yourself.
3. Paste the encrypted data into the body of your text message and send it.
Do not enable security, signing, or etc.
4. When the e-mail arrives back in your inbox, you will simply see the
encrypted content. You must then copy the content into an external editor
or gpg program and decrypt it, then copy the decrypted data into another
program for it to be useable.
