Description Shane Gibson 2002-11-22 19:49:56 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Normal
Version: 1.2.0
Synopsis: filters aren't always applied
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Mailer

Description:

I setup a simple filter that basically goes:

if from user "webservice.web@domain.com" mark as read
	move to folder "webservice.web"

I receive about 25 to 75 of these messages a day. Most of them end up
being processed properly. However, frequenlty (maybe 5 to 10 of them a
day) are not processed properly. If I click on the message, then select
"apply filters" it is processed properly, and mark as read, then moved
to the proper folder...so it appears that my rule properly matches the
message. It just seems that something occurs that prevents Evolution
from properly processing the message when a receive is running. I set
my IMAP server to "get mail" once ever 2 minutes.

RedHat 7.3, with KDE 3.x, Evolution 1.2 and Connector 1.2 (not being
used 'cause it's radically broken).

Shane
