Description Johann Glaser 2002-11-16 10:14:59 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Major
Version: 1.2.0
Synopsis: "New Appointment"'s default date is today instead of currently selected day
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Calendar

Description:
Description of Problem:
In the day view (1 or more days shown at once) click to one day which is
_not_ today. Then click the "New Appointment" button at the top left.
The "Appointment"-Dialog comes up. You can type in the summary,
everything as usual.

But, watch the "Date & Time" fields. The date is _always_ the current
day (in reality) instead of the selected day.

Confirming this.
Workaround: double click on day you want your new appointment.
Changing priority to minor since there's a workaround.

cannot reproduce this using evolution1.5-1.5.9.0.200406211628-0.snap.
ximian.8.1. i clicked on another day in the month window in the upper
right corner, chose another day and did what you describe. the date
will be set to the day i chose and *not* to today. closing.
