GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 233971
contacts view does not scroll with keyboard navigation
Last modified: 2013-09-10 14:03:47 UTC
Description of Problem: In the Contacts view, when using the up and down arrow keys to select contact entries in sequence, if there are more contacts entries that can fit on the screen (so that there is a horizontal scroll bar on the bottom of the view), and you select a contact entry that is not currently displayed (i.e. not in the view) the view does not scroll and you can't see which entry is selected. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Select the Contacts view in Evolution 2. use the arrow keys to scroll off the view Actual Results: you can't see the selected entry Expected Results: the view scrolls so the next column is fully in the view How often does this happen? always Additional Information: I used Evolution 1.2 when I found the bug, however I remember this from every other version of Evolution I've used. I'm using RedHat 8.0, but I don't think that's an issue with the bug :-). BTW: thanks for a great program!!!
