Description Daniel Collins 2002-11-06 22:17:37 UTC
Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you
are doing.
Description of Problem:
(not sure if this an addressbook (i.e. Evolution) or Connector issue).
When entering an address with a PO box, the information is deleted when the
contact is saved.

This happens in Connector 1.0.7/Evolution 1.0.8 as well

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create a contact with a PO (or P.O.) Box in the first line of the address
2. Save the contact
3. Notice that the PO box disappears from the contact. Open the contact to
verify and the PO box doesn't appear at all.

Actual Results:

Expected Results:
PO Box line should be saved.

How often does this happen?
All the time.

Chris, I want your advice since I know you've been doing some other
address-parsing stuff.

The problem is that we're storing the PO Box data in the "PO Box"
field in Exchange, but Outlook does not display that field. ! So
we should probably store it somewhere else (extra?) but I'm not
sure exactly where/how...

See the comments on 57802, about not storing PO Box information.
