Description fire_crotch 2002-10-29 07:20:42 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Normal
Version: 1..
Synopsis: unable to import from kmail
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Importers

Description:
Description of Problem:
get no response after selecting files for import

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. imported .dbx files from outlook express 6 to kmail, worked fine in
kmail
2. opened evolution
3. went to import selected MBox and even tried automatic and selected
e-mails in kmail's e-mail folder, unable to import e-mails

Actual Results:
nothing happens after selecting folder to import e-mails to

Expected Results:
expected to be able to import all e-mails quickly and easily in one
step...

How often does this happen?
tried several times to import e-mails from kmail but have been unable
to. Tried selecting directory and got "there is no importer capable of
handling ..." when selecting individual e-mails (man what a pain,
importing all e-mails one at a time???) got no response after selecting
folder to import them to as mentioned above.

Additional Information:
features request - ability to import binary .dbx files directly from
outlook 6.
