Description Dan Winship 2002-10-10 18:27:51 UTC
You can't open a (mail) folder with a ? in its name.
(Noticed while exploring public folders on the Exchange server
at MEC. Dum de dum.)

Comment 3 Khasim Shaheed 2005-07-06 08:50:05 UTC
Not able to create folders on exchange server starting with # or ? characters.
And also if you try to create a folder with # or ? included in its name, a
folder is created with all the characters after # or ? including those
characters excluded.(For example if you try to create a folder with name
'gnome#bugs', a folder with name 'gnome' will be created).

changing the severity and Target milestone.
This is happening with the devel snaps dated 05/07/2005.
Comment 4 Khasim Shaheed 2005-07-06 09:32:02 UTC
Reducing the severity and changing the Target to Future because this is not a
common scenario.
Comment 5 Sushma Rai 2006-02-27 10:29:16 UTC
partha, Is this the similar issue you fixed in IMAP and GW providers?
Comment 6 Sankar P 2006-04-25 10:40:51 UTC
We dont have such limitations in GW provider because it is not web-based. Since these are HTTP delimitters we cant create folders using them. Have definitely seen some more dups.
