Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you are doing. Description of Problem: other user's folder After opening an other user's folder, Evolution does not notice of the permissions for the folder are changed while Evolution is running. If the folder does not have read permissions when Evolution opens it, after setting read permissions ( editor for example ) Evolution still does not see the folder contents. Expected Results: Can Evolution retest permission or would this impose too much overhead? How often does this happen? Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. However, you are using a version that is too old and not supported anymore. GNOME developers are no longer working on that version, so unfortunately there will not be any bug fixes for the version that you use. By upgrading to a newer version of GNOME you could receive bug fixes and new functionality. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain a newer version of GNOME. Please feel free to reopen this bug if the problem still occurs with a newer version of GNOME.
