Description Richard Tango-Lowy 2002-06-11 20:19:46 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Wishlist
Version: 1.0.5
Synopsis: Duplicate a contact
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Contacts [was: Addressbook]

Description:
It would be really nice to be able to create a duplicate contact.
Sometimes I have a card for a family and another for specific members. I
currently have to retype all the similar fields. Adding a "Duplicate"
item to the Edit menu would work.

A cooler solution would be hierarchical contacts. A contact would
inherit all the fields from its parent contact except those that are
manually changed.

Setting qa contact to the default for this product.
This bug either had no qa contact or an invalid one.

You can select a contact and save that in the same book,
it'll create a duplicate contact.

making it duplicate of 234991 for the hierarchical contacts requirement.
