Description Yazz D. Altas 2002-06-10 23:23:00 UTC
Description of Feature Request:

In the Palm Pilot Addressbook you are able to
group people via the small pull down in the upper
right hand corner. This information is not shared
with Evolution. Is there major reason why this was
not done?

Evolution does have under the Contact Editor on
the first tab in the lower right a spot called
Categories which seems to appear to be simimlar
but is not.

In a release down the line could there be a way to
merge the Categories with the Palm Pilots groups?
Basically it would add the groups I have already
split my address book into to the list of
Categories. I'm not sure about how to handle
mutiple Categories since I currently don't have a
reason to do so.

Not sure if this should be crossposted to any
other area. I'll leave that up to who ever reads
the bug list.
