Description Toni Willberg 2002-06-05 16:34:43 UTC
1. File > New Mail Message
2. Insert > Attachment > Add some attachment to you mail
3. try to open the attachment...

So, it would be nice if Evolution would offer more choices on menu opened
on right clicking attachment. Now the menu has "Remove" and "Properties".

I suggest adding atleast: "open", "open with", "copy", "cut", and perhaps
"paste files". I think you got the idea. Just normal file operations, just
like on other mail clients.

Also option for "show as list/details/icons" should be available. Details
should show file size and mimetype etc. (I'll file other rfe for this)

I think this might be a duplicate, but maybe not.

Couldn't find it...

I tried to search for it too, but could not find.

1.1.1.99 is still the same.

Some ideas about milestone? :)

We're thinking about verion 3.0 or so. Maybe 3.2
Comment 6 Jeffrey Stedfast 2002-09-22 22:31:56 UTC
(I am of course kidding, but it might be true? we have no plans past
porting to GNOME2 wich will not involve adding any new features, so
the earliest you could possibly see this feature is the first stable
release after a stable GNOME2 port)
Comment 7 Toni Willberg 2004-12-03 09:34:28 UTC
updated version number, perhaps this gets some love again as we are on
Gnome2 now ;)

ps. I could perhaps contribute an implementation to this if no-one
else is working on it, and if Ximian UI people accept the functionality

finally, marking as dup, as already written three years ago. ;-)
