Description pjotr 2002-06-05 11:00:59 UTC
Description of Problem:
if you set extended reminder-options with the "Options"-button in the
"reminder"-tab for calendar entries, you can't view or edit them once you
added the reminder (using the "add"-button)

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. open or create an appointment
2. select the "reminder"-tab
3. press the "options"-button
4. set some options (like "repeat alarm 3 times every 5 minutes)
5. confirm the extended options using "ok"-button
6. add the reminder using the "add"-button
7. close the appointment
8. open this appointment again
9. select the "reminder"-tab

Actual Results:
you see a reminder, but there's no way (or at least no obvious way) to view
or edit the extended options

Expected Results:
there's an "edit" button that opens a dialog to view and edit existing
appointments and their extended options (or something similar)

still not possible to edit in evolution-1.4.6.0.200403080631-0.snap.
ximian.8.1, gnome2.4, suse9.
Comment 2 André Klapper 2004-04-08 15:02:15 UTC
very related to bug 248109 (in both cases the "options"-button does not
work properly)!
since some ui-changes for 1.5.7/2.0 have taken place
(http://primates.ximian.com/~anna/editors/meet-reminders.png), i
wonder if these options will still be available and if this is still
an issue...
Comment 3 André Klapper 2004-09-26 17:26:00 UTC
in evolution1.5-2.0.0.0.200409211947-0.snap.ximian.8.1 one can only
add or remove reminders (=alarms), not edit them. so changing the
subject to reflect this.
Comment 4 André Klapper 2005-07-15 20:56:34 UTC
still valid in 2.3.5.1

i'd like to vote for this. :-)

Comment 7 Chakravarthi 2005-09-05 07:07:00 UTC
The UI has changed a lot and with the current alarm setting button
on appointment (meeting, task) editor, this bug is not reproducible.
One can change alarm settings at any later point in time. So changing
the status to OBSOLETE.
Comment 8 André Klapper 2006-01-01 12:48:22 UTC
totally wrong. reopening. i cannot change an existing alarm, because i cannot edit it. i have to delete it and set up a new one.
