Description John.Graat 2002-04-25 10:16:42 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Major
Version: 1.0.3
Synopsis: PGP/GPG signature checking sometimes fails, but is ok during manual verification
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Mailer

Description:
When a mail comes in that was pgp signed with pgp-2.6.x or pgp-4.0 bussiness
edition, signature verification fails from inside evolution 1.0.3. That is: evolution
reports a 'bad signature'.
When running gpg from the command line after saving the mail to a file, signature
verification turns out to be ok, using the same command line switches as used
by evolution when gpg is started. Looks like the temporary file that is created
for signature verification is not ok.

Can't send you the original mails as example because of their contents, sorry.
