Description Fred Antrobus 2002-03-19 20:07:11 UTC
Description of Problem:
Need a setting to change the color of the highlight cursor or the color of
the text to be more contrasting.

When trying to read mail in any mailbox folder, I have to move the cursor
off of the heading to be able read the text.

On my display the the text that is Highlighted is unreadable.
The text is black on a dark blue highlight.
The text needs to have more contrast with the highlight.

It would be desirable to have a section in the "Mail settings" for doing
this.

How often does this happen?
Every time

I would like to add my 2 cents to this bug. The current choice of
hard-coded highlight color (see also bug#206767), dark blue on black
text, is completely unreadable on my display as well. I believe that
if colors are not yet configurable, at least they should be chosen in
such a manner that they are readable and usable.

This problem is not isolated to the Calendar component, of course. I
do not use the Calendar (yet) -- my problem is with the Mail summary.
