Description Robert Morelli 2002-01-19 02:33:51 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Cosmetic
Version: 1.0.1
Synopsis: Separator position
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Contacts [was: Addressbook]

Description:
I'd like to make a small suggestion for evolution. On the Contacts
page,
there is a vertical separator bar. Evolution doesn't remember the
position of this bar between sessions. I suggest that it should. In
general, you should assume that some users will be shutting down
and restarting frequently (to conserve electricity), so preserving
the state is something that affects the use of the program on a
daily basis. While this seems like a minor point, attention to details

like this do affect the user's experience. (Also, make sure you get
the focus order of the components right, etc.)
