Description bsuss_ca 2001-12-25 00:18:20 UTC
Description of Problem:

Delete message functionality is archaic. Marking
messages for deletion is a relic of the mbox format.

Deleting a message only marks it for deletion; it
does not move it to trash (since trash is only a
vfolder). The suggested work around is to use
"Hide deleted messages" However, this means the
vfolders will not be able to use these
deleted/hidden messages.

Most people like to keep their messages for record
and so it seems that deleting a message should
move it to a real trash folder (not a vfolder).
Then a user my store their old messages there.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.
2.
3.
