Description Jonas De Vuyst 2001-12-09 13:33:26 UTC
It would be nice if there was in the contact
editor, an option "Wants to receive signed mail"
just like there now is "Wants to receive HTML mail".

The reason for this request is that signed e-mail
messages are currently sent as attachments which
confuses some users (more specifically, my mother)
with OpenPGP-unaware clients. Besides, what's the
point of signing e-mail if the recipient doesn't
verify it anyway.

When/if Evolution gets S/MIME support the option
could be changed to switch between no encryption,
OpenPGP encryption or S/MIME encryption.

This one has been suggested a few times, but it's still a good idea.

Clear dup of bug 212106. See also bug 204029.
