Description Ettore Perazzoli 2001-11-29 21:32:01 UTC
In Pine, every time you receive a message from a mailing list, you can do
operations like "unsubscribe", "view mailing list information".

We should support something like that.
Comment 1 Luis Villa 2001-12-06 23:23:45 UTC
Can we define this more exactly?
Comment 2 Ettore Perazzoli 2001-12-07 18:44:41 UTC
Marking this down as it's a nice feature, but people can live without it.
Comment 3 Not Zed 2001-12-08 00:32:21 UTC
I am simply not doing this, its a stupid and unimplementable feature.
Comment 4 Ettore Perazzoli 2002-03-27 23:19:17 UTC
Pine does it, it can't be that hard.
Comment 5 Nicholas Miell 2002-04-12 06:33:00 UTC
I think this is a useful feature, and reasonably easy to implement at
that.

See RFC2369 for a specification of how it works.

Apologies for any spam... cc'ing usability-maint on all Evolution usability
bugs. Filter on EVO-USABILITY-SPAM to ignore.
Comment 8 Thilo 2005-08-02 13:43:56 UTC
I think this feature is implemented in 2.2.x?
Comment 9 parthasarathi susarla 2005-08-03 06:36:33 UTC
There is a mailing list plugin now which allows you do all this. Go to
Message>Mailing List.

Closing this bug.
Comment 10 ChO₂ 2010-11-08 15:20:05 UTC
This is not really easy to find. I needed to search the bug tracker in order to find this feature. Buttons at the bottom of the mail would be better; Actions that are not possible because the associated header is missing should be grayed out.
