Priority: Normal
Version: 0.99.2
Synopsis: Evolution claims BAD signature when it isn't
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Mailer

Description:
I've received a number of messages signed with PGP, my Evolution is
configured to
use GPG (output of --version below) and claims the mail has a bad
signature. Yet if I save the message and pass it through gpg as normal,
it says the message is fine.

Comment 2 Luis Villa 2001-12-18 16:08:56 UTC
Is this a duplicate of the other recent pgp problems, jeff?
Comment 3 Jeffrey Stedfast 2001-12-18 21:25:37 UTC
well, it's not a dup of skvidal's bug (that one is a pgp/mime message)
this one is a in-line pgp message. I think this is a duplicate of
another in-line pgp bug tho that I wrote a patch for that looped over
a ton of possible variations of the message formatting until it
verified but I could be wrong.

Comment 5 Jeffrey Stedfast 2002-01-04 19:21:33 UTC
this is already fixed for 1.0 iirc.
Comment 6 Scott James Remnant 2002-01-04 22:50:07 UTC
I've upgraded to 1.0 and it still fails, I'm afraid :(
Comment 7 Jeffrey Stedfast 2002-01-04 23:07:33 UTC
I meant 1.0.2, sorry.
Comment 8 Scott James Remnant 2002-01-31 12:24:16 UTC
Just installed 1.0.2 and evolution still claims this mail has a bad
signature, but piping it through GPG says it's a good one.

:(
