Description gprs 2001-10-30 16:37:15 UTC
Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what
you are doing.
Description of Problem:
When a normal user tries to retrieve mail from an mbox (local delivery or
unix spool) an error is presented indicating that the file cannot be
locked. Normal users do not have permission to create files in /var/spool
(and shouldn't??). Is it possible to change the location that Evolution
tries to create the lock files?

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create a new local delivery or unix spool mail account;
2. log in as a normal user;
3. retrieve mail.

Actual Results:
Error box indicating that the file /var/log/username cannot be locked...

Expected Results:
mail retrieved from the mbox

How often does this happen?
every time
