appaears to only be a "first time behavior" when opening email
messages after the first messages, perfromance is acceptable.
Comment 2 Not Zed 2001-10-21 21:16:44 UTC
Dan, is this maybe a 'scanning the message cache-dir' problem? Well,
depending very much on the filesytem used too I guess.

Should the cache dir be exploded as netscape/mozilla/apache/squid do?
Comment 3 Luis Villa 2001-10-25 19:10:21 UTC
I'm guessing this is related to my vfolder bug... marking 1.1 unless
this can somehow be fixed without major architectural changes.
Comment 4 Luis Villa 2001-10-25 19:11:05 UTC
oops
Comment 5 Dan Winship 2001-10-25 19:20:41 UTC
The cache dir wouldn't slow things down that much with only
3000 messages, but yes, it should be rewritten.

Um, Louie, did you mean to re-unconfirm this?
Comment 6 Luis Villa 2001-11-26 17:03:45 UTC
Because of the decision to remap 1.1->1.2 and 1.2->1.4, I'm going to be
moving a large number of bugs around in the bugzilla. You can just
search on 'body contains' 'Because of the decision to remap' and mark
all as read. Please direct all questions about this change to
evolution@ximian.com, not the bug.
Luis

I don't think so either.
