Description Michel Alexandre Salim 2001-09-27 01:30:44 UTC
Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you
are doing.
Description of Problem:

When adding entries for the Summary view, one cannot change the ordering of
the items. This behaviour has improved since beta3 (0.13) - now it is
consistent, with the newest entry appearing on top of the other entry but
still, it would be nice to be able to have those ubiquitous up-and-down
arrows to change the order of an entry

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go to summary view
2. Tools->Summary Settings
3. Add entry into any of Weather, News, Mailboxes

Actual Results:
Latest entry on top, no possibility to change ordering without deleting
every entry and starting from scratch. PITA with many entries

Expected Results:
Up-and-down arrows to change entry

How often does this happen?
Always

Additional Information:
Comment 1 Michel Alexandre Salim 2001-10-06 02:49:23 UTC
This is getting more irritating - somehow, no matter whether I enter
mailboxes in the order of 'Inbox/Outbox/Mailing lists' or 'Mailing
lists/Outbox/Inbox' the mailboxes keep appearing in the latter ordering.

Major interface glitch IMHO - any plan to fix this?
Comment 2 Luis Villa 2001-10-15 18:34:46 UTC
No, no plans to fix for 1.0. Might be something to /think/ about for
1.1, if it is trivial, iain.
Comment 3 Luis Villa 2001-11-26 17:04:53 UTC
Because of the decision to remap 1.1->1.2 and 1.2->1.4, I'm going to be
moving a large number of bugs around in the bugzilla. You can just
search on 'body contains' 'Because of the decision to remap' and mark
all as read. Please direct all questions about this change to
evolution@ximian.com, not the bug.
