I cannot view the attachments when composing a message.  Say I forwarded a
message as an attachment and wanted to copy a piece of text. I can't
double-click on the attachment to open it.  I can't view an attached image
or play an attached song.

This would be very handy to save having to open the attachments in another
program if I wanted to refer to them when writing an email.
