Description Nevin Kapur 2001-09-10 01:31:05 UTC
Description of Problem:

When using IMAP with SSL support, if Evolution contacts a server which
presents a self-signed certificate, a dialog box pops up saying "Bad
certificate".

Most IMAP clients allow operation with a server without validation of the
server certificates. Others present this warning once with an option to not
show it again.

It would be nice if Evolution had one of these options.

Yeah, it's true. The current behavior makes SSL pretty annoying.
