GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 207209
Create calendar entry directly from mail
Last modified: 2004-10-25 23:16:53 UTC
I frequently find myself finding out about appointments of various sorts from mail messages sent to me (they are typically not in a form conductive to automatic updating of the calendar). Often, there are a good deal of details regarding the appointment in the mail message that I would like to have as a part of the appointment details (things like 'where', 'why' and 'how' come to mind). With that in mind, I'd like to have another mail action (something like "Add to Calendar") that would give me the appointment editor, with the text of the mail message already entered into the appointment description. Yes, I'd have to give it a summary and a time, but then, I'd have to do that anyway. Having this functionality, I no longer have to be worried that I accidentally delete crucial information from a mailbox before the appointment has passed.
This sounds interesting. Setting it to 1.2.
Because of the decision to remap 1.1->1.2 and 1.2->1.4, I'm going to be moving a large number of bugs around in the bugzilla. You can just search on 'body contains' 'Because of the decision to remap' and mark all as read. Please direct all questions about this change to evolution@ximian.com, not the bug. Luis
Is this a shell thing?

marking as a duplicate of bug 220423 since 20423's summary seems to be more general. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 220423 ***
