Description Thomas O'Dowd 2001-08-03 10:40:26 UTC
Hi,

I'd like drag and drop to do a bit more in the future. I wasn't sure what
component this belonged to so I set it as Misc. Feel free to update :)

1. Be able to drag a mail from the Inbox onto Tasks (either on shortcuts or
Folder listing). This should have the effect to open a new task. The
summary of the task should be the subject by default. The body should be
the message contents. The mail should remain in the Inbox as it hasn't been
moved to another folder. Why, I would like this is sometimes, I find myself
trying to keep track of mails in terms of tasks and copying them straight
in there would be too cool.

2. Same as above but for Calendar. I'd use this a lot when people email me
party info and I just want to drag it straight in there and set the date so
that I don't forget!

Thanks people!

Tom.

Damn bugzilla is hard to search with. I looked for this before I filed
it and now, I'm looking for something else and I find a previous
wishlist filed earlier. How do others use the query page to get the
best results?

Tom: unfortunately, there is no magic formula to make the queries
easier/more accurate. Patience and reading a lot of bugs is the only
real solution.
