Description michael_fair 2001-07-18 21:59:50 UTC
When you currently use Message threading and sort by date, and a new
message appears in the particular thread it belongs, while I believe this
is the correct behavior, you are forced to scroll down to find the thread
with the new message in it.

I would like to see the sort-by-date method use the most recent message in
a thread as the thread's effective date. This way the whole thread will
be moved to the most recent messages area which will make it easier to
find.

This is somewhat related to bug#202505
