This is a wish.

It would be cool if the shortcutbar didnt do this:

   debian-powerpc-list (83) => debian-powerp...

but rather this:

   debian-powerpc-list (83) => debian-po...(83)

So the folder count would always be visible. Currently it gets truncated
with the label. I think it would be more useful if it was done like the
suggestion above.

I put this in "Shell" category, I am sorry if this is more related to the
Mailer..

Shortcut bar is deprecated in 1.5, this report is no longer valid.

Only security fixes will go in to 1.4.x at this point.
