Description Miles Lane 2001-05-24 07:57:49 UTC
In the Address Cards view, navigation by the keyboard is limited
to single-stepping through the cards using the Up and Down arrow
keys. It would be great if the Right and Left arrow keys allowed
horizontal traversing of the list.
Comment 1 Gerardo Marin 2002-11-29 19:59:19 UTC
Right and left arrows are now (1.2) bound to tab and shift-tab. This
looks to me very counterintuitive . On most UI designs right and left
arrows expected behavior is to navigate within a single widget/widget
objects. I agree with Miles.
Can someone make a decision on this?
Comment 2 André Klapper 2004-10-24 22:40:12 UTC
still valid in evolution1.5-2.0.1.0.200410061620-0.snap.ximian.8.1. if
i push the left arrow the component buttons get focussed. to me this
is definitely not expected behaviour.
Comment 3 André Klapper 2005-07-19 12:52:38 UTC
atill valid in 2.3.5.1

I guess that the patch needs more rework. Like Left/Right should move
horizontally and not follow same as UP/DOWN.
Comment 7 André Klapper 2006-06-14 14:13:32 UTC
removing old target milestone.
Comment 8 Matthew Barnes 2008-03-11 00:25:37 UTC
