Description Dan Winship 2001-02-24 17:44:11 UTC
Using mozilla's windows-based tool?
Comment 1 Iain 2001-05-10 18:24:10 UTC
Basically: Load Mozilla on Windows, Tell Mozilla to import Outlook
Mail. Reboot to Linux, run Evolution, point Evolution to the mbox
files that have appeared in the Mozilla mail directory in your windows
partition.

A much better explanation has been sent to Duncan for inclusion in the
FAQ.

I apologize for the spam; re-setting all target milestones to 'future'
in preparation for evolution 1.0. If you have any questions, please feel
free to write louie@ximian.com.

Can anyone give a link to the FAQ mentioned by Iain please?
I cannot find any further explanation in
http://www.ximian.com/products/ximian_evolution/faq.html .

Also updating summary to reflect that this only deals with mail, not
with anything else contained in the .pst.

For the record:
In bug 208426 danw mentions
<http://www.wirejunkie.com/freestuff/devout/>, which is a visual basic
tool to export e-mail from Outlook 2000.
