Description Julian Gilbey 2005-04-08 12:19:13 UTC
If I am working for a long period of time with GnuCash, I often save
intermittently (in particular, if I have created new accounts, bug#150514). But
although a backup (.xac) file is created at this point, a new log file is not.
So if I have to replay the log file, I might have hundreds or thousands of
records to replay instead of just dozens.

I suggest, when saving, in addition to creating <timestamp>.xac, to close the
current log file and open a new log file with a name such as <timestamp>.log or
<timestamp+1>.log.

This is fixed in svn r1395 and should be in 1.9.6.
