Search pattern:

simple: myfile.txt
wildcarded: *.[ch]

Correct version:
Need more detailed description about search patterns with examples.
I don't know how to search for files eg. *.doc and *.pdf ? Or do i need to do
this in two separated search?

I think the reporter is talking about gnome-search-tool.
