Distribution/Version: NT4 with SP-6

Install GTK+ 2.6.4 and GIMP 2.2.4.
Start GIMP.
GIMP crashes.

Without further information about the crash, we will not be able to help you.

If you start gimp from a console, does it print any messages before crashing ?

This is probably caused by bug #169349 (see bugs duped on that, for example bug
169266).
