2. type 'abc' in A1
3. change angle to 30 (now I can see figure 1)
4. in order to look more, resize the cell and set [v|h]align to Center (now I 
can see figure 2)

This is not a dupe of 167544.  This is about whether we slope up or down.
This is apparently win32 specific.

1.7.1 slopes up.

I can not replicate this with svn trunk under win32 or linux.
