Description Shad 2005-03-22 23:26:42 UTC
Distribution/Version: XP Pro SP2

1. save http://abelscreening.com/titlebar.jpg locally
2. open with GIMP

What Happens:
The GIMP progress bar works its way up to full, and stays there, never actually
opening a window for that file.

What I would expect:
After the progress bar reaches full, a window opens for that file. (Just as it
does for http://abelscreening.com/logo_heading.jpeg )

Additional Information:
I don't know what program was used to generate the images GIMP cannot open (I
have several); I am able to open those images in other tools, and so far every
file I save with any of the other tools I use can be opened in GIMP with no trouble.
I don't know how to find what GNOME version I have installed.

Please upgrade to 2.2.4. This is most likely caused be an outdated libexif
distributed in earlier versions.

If you still have problems with 2.2.4, reopen this bug and we'll isolate it
further. Do try in the future to use the latest version before reporting bugs.
